Codicex is the first fantasy miniature skirmish tabletop game currently being developed by Highlands Miniatures based on an unique and completely new gothic and captivating dark universe.

Yes, Codicex will be developed as a fully 3D printable tabletop game, including miniatures, terrain, rules and any other playable content available for the game.

The scale of the miniatures will be set to 32mm heroic scale. 

Codicex will be a fast and easy to play skirmish game with eight to twelve miniatures per cult on average. Players will choose one of the available cults to play againts other players.

Our objective is to release Codicex in Autumn 2024. We will be working on Codicex during 2024 with the hope of publishing it before Christmas 2024.

Codicex will be launched through a crowdfunding campaign first. If the game is succesfully funded, it will be also available for purchase afterwards in ourn own digital store.

If the digital version of the game (STLs) is succesfully funded, Highlands Miniatures will get in touch with several production companies to deliver a physical version of Codicex to the higher standard available in the market.

No, there won't be any Merchant License available for the digital version of Codicex as the intention of Highlands Miniatures is to produce and sell a physical version of Codicex. 

The current Merchant License available in Highlands Miniatures Patreon won't cover Codicex, as they will be separated and different products.

While players will have the freedom to use these miniatures in other fantasy settings or games, Codicex miniatures won't be proxy miniatures or designed to fit any other fantasy game.

Codicex miniatures will be designed and sculpted solely for Highlands Miniatures Codicex skirmish game.
